Tillamook County Search and Rescue is an all volunteer organization.
Every member of the team volunteers their time and effort because they
enjoy helping others.
Tillamook County Search and Rescue is a non profit organization which relies solely on Grants,Donation,and Fundraisers.
Each member supplies his/her own gear(except for items such as radios and specialty equipment),pays for their own gas,and gives their own time and effort because they enjoy being out there saving lives and helping people.
Although we are in a relatively small area we recieve some of the highest number of call outs per year in Oregon.We are on call 24/7 365 days a year.
Our call outs include:Hunters,Hikers,Fishermen,Children,Alzheimers Patients and many others who are here to enjoy our beautiful area.
All Donations are used for Equipment and Training for Search and Rescue and Cadets Teams to perform their jobs the best they can to help people in need of Rescue.
